THE COLLECTIONS
Family pictures should not be something you dread, or something that causes stress! You should LOVE getting your photos taken, and the process should be fun for everyone! Not only do you deserve beautiful images, you also deserve an amazing photographic experience. When a family feels comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera, that results in genuine, joyful images!
When I look back to our family sessions, I see joy, and personality.... They are priceless to me. As a momma, I know how overwhelming it can be to get outfits together, to worry about how the kids will be. But I also know how quickly our babies grow, I know that this is the only way to hold on to this moment, this season of your life- is through photos. My goal is to not only capture stunning portraits & all the genuine moments in-between, it’s to create an experience that will make you feel like you walked away from a FUN family night.
MY PHILOSOPHY
I believe that building a relationship with each of my clients is the key to providing the best photographic experience possible! A family should connect with their photographer, trust their photographer and be EXCITED about the whole process with them! After booking I'll send over a questionnaire so I can get to know the in's and out's of your family! I'll also send over a family outfitting guide to help ease the stress of finding something for everyone to wear! As we get closer we will select the perfect location for your family session and set a time to meet!
The PRocess
Having your photos taken should be a fun experience! I strive to always to have a gallery filled with beautiful portraits as well as genuine moments that capture everyone’s personality in its truest form! I do my best to keep it lighthearted and fun so that you, the kids and even the hubby will enjoy it! I never want you to feel as though you are walking away from a photo session, I want you to leave feeling like you just spent an amazing hour connecting and laughing with all your favorite people!
My Shooting Style
I am more than willing to travel for family sessions! I actually love it when families ask me to photograph them in a location that means something special to them! We also have a small home based studio that I welcome small families to use!
I offer a collection of handmade outfits for sitters as well as a style guide to help ease the planning of your entire families outfits. Having coordinating (not matching!) outfits, really elevates the feel of your photos and allows you and the family to go into your session feeling confident!
Locations & Outfitting
I love delivering my client’s files quickly and easily via an online gallery. You will have the ability to print, share and download your images as much as you want. I love allowing my clients to pick their favorite images out of a complete gallery! You have options to add additional files or purchase the entire gallery for a small fee!

Family Session Fee
Includes:
Pre-session style consultation by phone or skype, wardrobe styling + access to client wardrobe for Mama’s, session in the studio, client’s home or outdoor location. Session fees are a non refundable and reserve the date for clients future session.
Digital files, prints, and products are purchased separately.

The sooner the better! My weekends tend to fill up pretty quickly - especially during the spring and fall, so the sooner you reach out to me, the more likely you are to get your desired date!
To reserve your date, I'll need a contract as well as a retainer. If something comes up and you need to change your date, just let me know! I do my best to work with all of our clients!
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK?
Unless you've modeled professionally, you're probably going to feel awkward in front of the camera. Heck, I take photos for a living and I even feel like a deer in the headlights when my family is in front of the camera.
You're going to feel awkward at first, but as the session goes on and I'll coach you through images, we think you'll find that being photographed can actually be fun. And don't worry about your kids. I'm well versed in capturing even the busiest of little ones.
We're Awkward and my kids don't sit still.
No one wants to look like a wet dog in their photos so if it looks like it's going to rain, snow, hail or some other weather catastrophe, we'll be in touch via email or phone to reschedule.
Often, when we're scheduling our initial portrait session date, if it works for our calendars, we'll actually set up both a main date and a rain date just to make sure I don't have to postpone your session for very long if the weather is bad on the original date.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
Within a month or two of your session, you'll receive a link to a digital gallery that will allow you to select your favorite images for download! You can also add additional digital files or upgrade to purchase the entire gallery!
The gallery is also set up to make ordering prints, canvases and other keepsakes as easy as turning on a Roomba to clean your floors. No worries about going to the store, selecting the right settings and waiting for them to finish printing!
